Anime Thread V6

I feel like I prefer season 2's visuals to this one.
Idk. I'll have to watch more episodes before I decide.
I didn't like season 2's art in the first episode either, but it grew on me.

Yeah, season 2 was kind of hard to adjust to at first, but imo it was easier for the 3-4 transition.

The only thing that really annoyed me in season 2 was the black faced background people. It's creepier that they even had facial features.

That didn't bother me at all, because a lot of the time they'll do something similar for the background characters in Hidamari.

I actually thought season 2 was great.
Idk why people think it wasn't.

I finally saw Tamako Market 2, it was p cool

Yeah. Tamako Market is cute.
I'm enjoying Love Live a bit more though.

I think it's my favorite of the new shows this season.
Either that or Haganai NEXT.

God I love this CD store near campus. Their selection is awesome and their used stuff is usually around $6 or less. So I got 5 albums for $20

Their brand new stuff is kind of pricey, but if you really like the album, it probably isn't that big of a deal

5 Limp Bizkit albums is not worth 20 dollars, Takashi-oniisama.
Unless they were the ones paying you the 20 dollars to take the albums off their hands.

I do slightly prefer their version of Behind Blue Eyes to The Who's version.

Tbh I don't know the Who's version that well, I never really heard their music played that much.

They played a short 12-13 minute medley at the 2010 Superbowl that was good.

I was never a big Who fan either, but the songs I have heard are pretty good.
Won't Get Fooled Again, Pinball Wizard, Behind Blue Eyes, etc.
Idk if The Who did the original Behind Blue Eyes or if theirs was a cover as well.

I remember seeing Pete Townsend in the credits for writing the song, so I guess they wrote it.

It was probably the windmill thing that I thought was too gimmicky that was clouding my judgement.

Apparently they started the whole windmill and stage destroying shit, or they were the ones who made it popular.

Not sure if the equipment destroying stuff started with them, but they did make it kinda popular.
And the windmill thing is Townshend's "signature move" or w/e.

Also, I finally started reading the Oreimo manga.
Manami is way cuter in it than in the anime.

I'm finding recently that while playing bass, after practicing songs I know or am learning (i'm learning HTT - Genius...!? atm), i'll go into some weird long ambient jam stuff.
It's weird cuz I don't listen to any long drawn out ambient music.

Maybe that's kind of similar to how I'll throw out metal chugging riffs randomly but I don't listen to that stuff.

Maybe you have some deep desire to listen to and play metal and become one of those disgusting greasy metalheads.


I think I just lapse into the ambient stuff because it's easy to press down a fret, hit the string with my right hand, maybe a few harmonics, and hold the notes forever.
I can suck without sounding like I suck, if I just say i'm playing ambient music.
