Any Weezer fans? I do miss when Elisha Cuthbert was their singer and they used to be called Weeze Sad

Not a huge fan, but I've seen them live once, were ok.

They've been sucking for awhile, they haven't written a good album since Maladroit and that was 2002.

^ Agreed.

I've always been listening to Weezer. Being born about the time of the Blue Album's release, they were a band I grew up with (well, 2 or 3 songs lol). But I've listened to them a whole lot more, especially since I missed seeing them live for free once. Huge disappointment

I do recommend Rivers Cuomo's Alone 1 and 2 for fans of old school Weezer. Those two albums are full of Blue Album and Pinketon demos. Oh and parts of the infamous Songs from the Black Hole

Old Weezer is great, but their recent stuff kind of sucked.

The thing is, is that Rivers is like in his 40's and singing the same topics he was singing when he was 20. Their lyrics need a bit of growing up.

I've heard a few of their songs and I hope it's all their more recent stuff because they seem to be just mediocre for me lol

I just realized Pinkerton, The Green Album, and The Blue Album all have 10 tracks. elephant

You need Maladroit. It's like their forgotten album and it's amazing.

Most Weezer fans don't mention it because it came out between the dividing Green Album and the other albums that most of the fans hate.

I hadn't heard about it before now. I grew up on the Red and Green albums. Mostly the Red.

There's some good jems on it. It's kind of a mix of their older sound and the Green Album

What are your favorite songs from both albums?

All of the Blue album, it's just fucking amazing. Every single song.

Pinkerton, nothing really stands out, but it's still better than most other Weezer.

I love some of the older stuff, The Blue Album and Green Album are really good. I haven't really heard enough of their newer stuff to base an opinion but i'll have a listen on spotify.

Oh right, I was supposed to listen to Weezer. The only song I know I like is 'Buddy Holly', but then again who doesn't like 'Buddy Holly'?

Go with the Blue Album first, then move on to Pinkerton and then Maladroit. The rest of their albums are a hit or miss.
