I'm saving up for a 6 string atm, i've played a 7 string once, it was amazing...

I can totally see how they'd be fun to play around with, but they aren't my style.

I'm not a fan of the look of them, and I don't really like the solo-bass style stuff that they're used for. It's too needlessly complicated for my taste :/

Yeah, i think everbody saw Jean Baudin's 11 string already...

Check out his solo album, some cool stuff in there

Not my kinda cup of tea. I would go max 5 personally, i can see the purpose of 6, but anything more than just is just too much.
