The quality of my day usually (not completely, but it definitely is a factor) depends on how well I dress. I can't even stand to wear most band shirts anymore (the only exception is my Ramones t-shirt because it is stylish and cool). They make me feel sick to my stomach.

I think it's because most band shirts are kind of bland. They're all black and all kind of try-hard looking.

Well, there's that, and the fact that I don't listen to any of the bands I have band shirts for and dislike most of the people that do listen to those bands. People in band shirts are always weirdos.

Those people are usually weirdos. Always quiet and always look angry. I could go into the psychology that goes into listening to metal, but I won't do that.
