o ya.
the limited edition vol 1 DVD of haruhi was like 3 dollars on amazon.
i'm curious whether the haruhi DVDs have the episodes in chronological order (like how i watched them) or in that mixed up broadcast order

i love expecting stuff in the mail.
don't even care what it is.
waiting for packages and then opening them is awesome.

also, i was going to buy second copies of the lucky star limited editions to keep sealed and shit, because atm i'm wearing the shirts and stuff that came with em, but they're up to like 40-50 dollars each now.

Also, Fujioka scenes were great, but I will admit a little piece of me was disappointed.
I really thought he was going to go full Hosaka there at the start.

To LOVE-Ru i'm currently downloading the entire first season of, and OniAi BD volumes are currently being released by Doki so i'll get them two at a time whenever they're released.

ah, so the premise is revealed in episode 2.
the imouto is moving in with her brother after not seeing him for 6 years, and he's also transferred to her school. imouto has a brother complex that she doesn't try to hide at all, and is constantly trying to get her onii-chan to have sex with her.
she's a huge fan of an author, Kōichirō Shindo, who writes erotic novels about taboo brother-sister love, but the twist/premise is that her onii-chan secretly is Kōichirō Shindo.

I wanna get some of the other volumes as well. I think 2 and 3, or maybe 3 and 4, come with pillowcases.

I just said that those volumes come with them, and I want those volumes.

Also, based on the first episode, To LOVE-Ru is... not great.
The first episode didn't pull me in at all.
For an anime made in 2008, it has the visuals of the old Dragonball series or smth from the 90s, and it isn't even available in anything higher than 480p.
The 720p version I have is just an upscale.

And the main male MC is awful. He's one of the over-emotive, crazy little kids you see all the time in shounen anime.

Also, the "uncensored" version isn't uncensored at all.

I might be able to stick it out if it was a 13 episode series, but it isn't. It's 26 episodes. I just don't know...

It's just after the first episode I have extremely low hopes for the next ones.

Will probably stick with it because Lala is pretty awesome, and I want to watch season 2.
It's actually pretty funny, if you disregard the over-active shounen MC, the 480p-ness, and the ray of light censorship.
