MTB Brainstorming Thread

Despite the fact that we have an entire forum for this

This site has been around for over a year, so I think it's time we should do some revamping.

Let's do a bit of some brainstorming here on how to increase our enjoyment of MTB. Throw your suggestions out. Suggestions like:

Does Grungie deserve the title of Horsedick.MPEG?
Does Mosca deserve to be a mod?
Should Inst be banned?

Yes to all.

No to all.

Alright, after we decide on how to revamp this place, Inst will be banned.

But I said no to that one which cancels out Moskers' yes!
So that one is still undecided.

I bet Debbie would say no as well

We'll find out.

On a serious note, what ideas do you guys have on increasing our funtime here?

I believe that "fun" in the workplace would increase by at least 70% if you would stretch the budget a little and rent us a bouncy castle.

Well now it's time to be srs. Hopefully these new changes can mean larger traffic and the opportunity for N8 and Inst to be mods.

I don't think anyone else should be a mod yet.
I think it'd actually be a negative thing to have too many mods with the amount of active users here.

A contest for what? Who can make the best ideas?

No. Like, a promotional contest to bring people to the site. Partner up with UG. They have a contest thing on the front page. People have to make an account on here and use the same email they used here to sign up for the contest. It can be like a raffle or something.

So basically I have to spend money? Also it doesn't seem like a good idea to partner with UG since they wouldn't want us to be stealing forum traffic from them.

I experienced the raffle on Mxtabs. That increased people registering, but none of them did anything else. I'm looking for people who register and actually post. Not those assholes who register an account and not even do a single post.

No more UG, I feel like this place is becoming an extention of UG. You have so many inside UG convo's going on that it is hard to follow and contribute. This is a small secondary reason of why I'm not that active on the site anymore - most of convo's don't make sense or doesn't leave openinings for outsiders like myself. Just a thought...

Invite more outside UG people then, from other forums you frequent.

I myself don't frequent any others, but I'm sure Inst/Grungie do.

I only go to small ones and they don't care about us cuz I tried.

Inst is a faggot and doesn't have friends.

I come here, I just never have anything to say.

Creating a new identity is the best thing that could happen, although I don't know how that would work since other forums are our main source of new members.
