My name's ATiRAGEPRO, also know as Mascot Tom. I'm an Animator, Software
engineer, Electronics technician, I like long walks on the beach and
whatever pads out this introduction to make it sound more interesting
than it really is. I'm a somewhat OK artist and an aspiring science fiction writer. I do produce music every now and then, I play piano and am still trying to figure out guitar, but I haven't done it professionally or released any albums or anything. Wink

Nice meeting everyone! Cool

Yo!
Man you sure do a lot.

I know there are a lot of different types of science fiction. Which do you write/read?
I myself am a fan of dystopian and post-apocalyptic novels, and can't much get into the whole deep space thing.

This. Cool

The book I'm working on now is along these lines. Books I've actually enjoyed are Atlas Shrug, The Sum of all Fears, and The hunt for red October. Not much science fiction involved in the books I tend to enjoy, but they are well written stories.

Thanks for the welcomes!

I'm not against it. There are some I like, but I think a good story is a good story regardless of the setting. There may be a story about flying spaghetti monsters in unicorn-land that could hold my attention if there's a good writer behind it.

I know you weren't. Razz I was just making the point that even the Care Bears can be interesting if it had an intriguing plot and good story structure. Cool I'm pretty neutral when it comes to types of science fiction.

I prefer scifi to real life. Way more interesting.

Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
