cant stop thinking about the x and y... i really hope the speculations are right about there being customization for your character. i can't say i'm in love with how the male protagonist looks. but more than anything i want them to start revealing more of the new pokemon. T-T i don't wanna go through the long and painful process of waiting for serebii to get aprooval to post bad photos of magazines they get smuggled over.

I doubt there will be much information at all before release, since these games actually have a global release date.

So it'll be released in Japan at the same time it's released everywhere else in the world, which is really awesome.

So what do you all want from this game?

With pokemon I hope they only add about one hundred new species (it will start to be too much in the next couple of generations). I hope there are no new evolutions of past pokemon,and I hope we only have a handful of legendaries (I think it would be cool to do sea monsters if we have another trio)

I want a pair of pokemon resembling a cockatoo and macaw respectively (they would be allies kind of like Plusle and Minum). I'm not even planning on buying this until the 3DS drops to a lower price but if this happens I will buy it just for this. That's how much of a dumb consumer I am.

I think it would be cool if we connecting regions again like Johto/Kanto. There isn't anything specific I want gameplay wise I just hope they switch it up some more.

We should give up on Kanto and Johto and connect back to Unova.

I agree. I was thinking either Sinnoh or Unova, or maybe even make them both new.

I actually dislike Kanto. It's okay in the old games but I was playing FireRed a few days ago and I was getting annoyed with it. There's nothing to the place except a bridge, a safari zone, a power plant, and some islands. The rest is so monotonous.

A cockatoo/macaw thing could be cool I guess, but hell, please don't make them like Plusle and Minun.
Those shitty one-evolution guys were just awful.
They should just be version specific birds, like Braviary and Mandibuzz in B/W.

I'd like maybe 130-ish new Pokemon, with maybe 4 or so being legendaries. Pls no more 15 legendaries per generation.

I'd also like them to just keep it all new areas. This whole full 3D thing is new and I want it all to be new, and maybe introduce older stuff in a sequel, like what B/W and B/W2 did.

The Braviary/Mandibuzz comparison is better. I only brought up Plusle and Minum for their relationship, not gameplay use. They never annoyed me though except for those double battles involving child trainers who had nothing but Plusle and Minun.

I think they should do what they did with B/W; keep it all new but reintroduce some older ones after you complete the game. Or at least allow old species into the game via something similar to the PalPark or PokeTransfer. That's just my preference though, and I won't even buy a Gen VI game until the sequels anyway.

Like I said, it would be cool to revisit old regions.

I like the being able to bring in old Pokemon once you reach a certain post-E4 area thing.

yeah, the best part of BW was that they forced you to use new Pokemon. Diamond was kind of silly where I ran into friggen machops, zubats, and geodudes in caves. Let's not forget the reuse of tentacools in the ocean. Really guys?
