I personally prefer a PRS or a Gibson SG.

I tried SG's and didn't like them. Les Pauls are where they're at

I would love to have a PRS doublecut though.

Gibson SG's are awesome, I'm saving for a SG Reissue.
But with a PRS you can play any style and have it sound awesome, and they have the best feel and weight.

It didn't sound much different than a Les Paul, it's the neck and shit that I didn't like.

It's not supposed too, PRS sounds more metallic but can still play any style. But Les Paul are awesome as well.
I love the necks PRS have.

I was mentioning that the SG's sounded like Les Pauls and I couldn't stand their necks and shit.

I wish I had a real Les Paul, but my fake one with Seymour Duncans is a beast, so I'm happy so far.

People comment on how my guitar looks so I guess all is good.

I'm going with SGs all the way. Of course my Gibson is the only electric non-First Act I've ever owned, so... Besides that, I've played some at music stores, but I don't pay any attention to the makers.

Is your SG a Gibson or Epiphone?

The First Act acoustic I have isn't bad, nothing too special necessary on it. I did customize the First Act electric I have. I stuck the old humbucker from my fake LP and stuck it in there, and retrofitted a killswitch on it.

Dude, SGs sound nothing a Les Paul..

I beg to differ, most solid body Gibsons with humbuckers I've tried all sound basically the same, it's just the body and necks that all feel different for me.

i fucking hate SG's so much. worst neck shape, awkward all around.

les pauls are dope, but i've never played a nice one for more than 5 minutes.

i've basically been conditioned to fender necks. strats and teles are just so buttery. i wish i had a really nice jaguar or jazzmaster. someday i'll have that fucking sunburst starcaster.

Hell free is even better. I never understood why the faded Gibsons are so much cheaper ($700-$800) I always thought that new guitars that look used were always more expensive.

I love Strats, I dislike Teles for some reason, they don't feel right to me. The new Blacktop strats are really nice though. I'd love to have a Jaguars they're pretty sexy.

^ Strats are my least fav. Telecaster aren't too bad though.

The Jr. version looks and feels a lot like my First Act Guitar

Actually on the hunt for a new guitar...always loved Schecter's, perfect for metal...thinking of getting into a Jackson or an Ibanez...

I dislike how some Schecters have a glossy neck. I've never tried Jacksons. I tried this Ibanez S series guitar. It was ugly because the finish was just plain wood and no color, but damn, it played/sounded like a dream.

I never did enjoy jackson, and I have a Ibanez but it's nothing special and their support is fucking crap! But I did like the Schecter I played once.

I own it. It's an AEL acoustic/electric. It isn't bad for the price.

The Artcores are really nice

I played a few Jackson's and I loved each one...the problem is that they are kind of pricey...Schecter's are so hit-or-miss, either you find one you fuckin love or you find one that belongs in a shitty band like A7X (ha!)...
