As much as I like to shit on their fanbase, I still like a good bit of their songs.

What songs/albums do you like from them?

Aenima's my favirote album overall. To pick one from each album, Stinkfist, Parabola, Swamp Song, and Vicarious

I love Aenima, it's the only one that I own a physical copy of lol. Well that's mostly because their CD's are usually $17, and I bought mine used.

I thought 10,000 days was boring really.

If I had to pick a song from each album would be:

Sober
H.
The Patient
Vicarious

Good choices there, and 10,000 Days would probably be my least favorite of them, even though I haven't listened to them all the way through in a long time. I do enjoy hearing most songs by them whenever I get them on my iTunes.

Excluding the white noise songs, they're really mostly background music for me.

Not a big fan of them, I like a few songs. But they are so boring live.

I haven't been to a show, but from my friend who aren't your stereotypical Toolfans say they just stand there looking super serious and have these light shows advertising Adam Jones' artwork.

Yea, pretty much was the deal at Download. I stayed up to Scism as I really wanted to see that live, but loads of people left before that.

The one thing that really annoyed me and many others were for those of us standing towards the back, the screens showed artwork and Tool videos and not the performance, so basicly I couldn't see anything.

That does seem like a boring show. If I go to see a band live, I want to see the band. To me it feels like you go there to admire Adam Jones' artwork and smoke a few blunts to get high to enjoy it to its full.
