They are not very common, gibson started producing them in the 80's and discontinued them in the 90's.

I saw the body and thought, WTF that can't be a Gibson. Luckily Google cleared things up.

I was really close to buying a used Ibanez S series for about the same price. I think I enjoy the Tele more.

I'm a fender guy, I'll stray over for Les Pauls, but i've never actually played an ibanez i've loved.

I enjoyed a few like their Artcores. The S played very nicely, and it had the double locking tremolo, but then I realized, I don't really use the tremolo bar.
