Hey. New guy around the block, I guess. Big punk, ska, and reggae fan. Into a bit of indie and grunge nowadays too. Can't say I'm particularly skilled with any instruments. Might pick up the guitar this summer. Haven't been on a forum for absolutely ages. Have no idea what possessed me to go on some again, but, well, here I am.

I'm a pretty big all-around nerd. Zombies, animated ponies, history, strategy games, psychology, anime, the list goes on.

So, yeah. Brief introduction.

Yo!
If you're thinking about picking up and instrument and are serious about it, you definitely should.
It's hard work, but it's also great fun Smile

Welcome.

Always wanted to. Only detriment really ever was laziness, and finding out how to tune the damn thing.

Thanks for the welcomes, guys.

Just play Guitar Hero, it's about the same. And you get a video crowd to cheer you on

What? Guitar Hero? That still exists? I thought that went extinct years ago.

It wasn't that long ago, plus Rock Band is still there.

But Rock Band is fun. I still occasionally play it, though i'm not nearly as good as I used to be.

Video crowd will go crazy, when they see I can play not only the guitar controller, but also sing and play some fancy drumwork. Bitches love drummers.

I've played like. 1 Guitar Hero game. Never got too much into because of song selection.

You're not into classic rock?

What do you listen to?

I'd say more like barely dabbling in indie and grunge.

Well my reading comprehension skills are bad today.

You'll never guess from my username what I like.

(it's hard isn't it?)

Can't say we share too much of a music taste then, unless you're into a bit of folk punk like Andrew Jackson Jihad, Ghost Mice, and Wingnut Dishwashers Union, as well Razz

Alice in Chains' Dirt is a good grunge album Can't think of anything terribly witty. 3392635135

What is "pop and country", Alex?

Folk punk is awesome. AJJ is one of my favorite bands, actually. Listen to Ramshackle Glory or Mischief Brew?

Awesome :3
AJJ is one of my favorites, too. My favorite t-shirt is the AJJ one I got from preordering the Knife Man vinyl.

I wouldn't say I listen to them. Never really got into Mischief Brew, and I own Ramshackle Glory's Live the Dream on CD, but have only listened to it a few times.

Knife Man was kinda a big curveball for me. It took a longgg while for it to grow on me. Favorite album still remains "People That Can Eat...".

Yeah People is def one of their best.
I also really like their sides of the O Pioneers split, and the Partners in 818 split.
