New Affiliate!

So I gained a new affiliate for us. The website is called Music Anchor .

I added their link to our affiliates page on our ever so popular Portal page, and if you want to contact me on that site my username is the same as here.

It's nice to make friends online.

Good to be in partnership.
Hopefully you can gain some traffic from my website.

That would be nice. Forumpromotion doesn't really help. It seems like they hate me, I see in other threads about Music Forums seeing people saying they signed up, but I only got 1 user out of that.

Forum Motion is useless. The support, themes and the all round user interface is poor. You should definitely consider purchasing a host elsewhere, buying a top level domain and installing PHPBB3.

Feel free to delete this post if you feel I'm being a little negative.

Problem is that I have no money, plus that also involves relocating people to the new site. Since some of the former Mxtabs users don't frequent here that often, it's more of a hassle to relocate.

I also wasn't mentioning Forumotion, I was mentioning that promotion website I found out about you from.

Forum Promotion has been good for me recently, I have gained a few members from it for sure. Just keep advertising and members will come.

I still stick by my comments however on Forum Motion, you should definitely consider changing. Can you not take database backups from your admin control panel?

I'm not really sure if I can, or how to do a database backup. Does it allow me to import all of my threads and stuff to a new forum, or do I have to start from scratch again?

Umm, I don't know. I know that the users at Forum Promotion do not like boards that are hosted with Forum Motion.

Yeah, maybe you could ask Forum Motion for a database backup.
There are plenty of free hosts out there and you could use a .co.cc domain which is also free and use PHPBB or any other free host without limitations of any sort.

If you can't get a database backup and you did want to move away from Forum Motion you will have to start completely fresh.

I tried that Mybb thing, I don't get how it works. I'll stick to this place since I find it easier to work.

So I guess our partnership has ended since there isn't any activity from the owner here, and they no longer have an affiliate list.
