This game is a good time waster, I hear the full version of the game will finally be released on Sept 19.

Feel free to share your creations on here.

Poor Minecraft thread ;_;
I guess I could post a few screens in here of things I build or do, but it looks like i'm the only one who seriously plays it.
I've put in maybe 16-1700 hours since I bought it back in Alpha.

I don't put as many hours as I should.

Well, you didn't legally acquire it so you aren't obligated to put any hours into it anyway Surprised
It's best that you don't really. It's such a terrible waste of time. I hate that I can't resist wasting my life away in it.

So you're saying that posting dumb things in the Pit is a better alternative?

I don't get this natural occurance:

It's like a large section of the ocean where it's one block higher than the rest of the ocean.

This is an old screenshot where it used to tell you it was unlicensed, but there's a random ass log of floating water.

Lol yeah. MC is definitely not without it's bugs and glitches.

I think that sea level increase thing was caused in older worlds during one of the updates. You won't see it on any newer maps.
As for the weird floating water, you still get that from time to time.

I've started kinda building a walled RPG-ish city thing.
I just spent a while creating the outside of the first building in it.

It's an old cathedral :3
Not nearly as good as the tons of other cathedrals that have been built in MC, but I think it works well
It's my first cathedral, anyway. Its very very very loosely based on Tristram Cathedral from the Diablo series.

That's better than what I can muster

I've been thinking about building a church or cathedral. I'm not the religious type at all, but I like the architecture.

I think it's really ironic that my 666th post was that of a cathedral :3

Yeah, big cathedrals do have great architecture. Dem really tall vaulted ceilings are my favorite.

I might also think about building some mosques. Especially the Ottoman imperial mosques.

Yeah that'd be pretty badass.
It would take so long though, because it'd need to be really really large-scale to get all the fine details and stuff.

I'd suggest you play the Technic/Tekkit mod, but you have to have purchased an MC account to use it :/
It combines a lot of mods like Buildcraft and Industrialcraft, which add a bunch of engines and pipes and cables and stuff.
You can fully automate anything in the game, really.

I don't know if I have the patience for building it that fine.

Also the Himeji Castle would be ballin as hell, but to make it that big with the crazy ass walkways and the hills, its daunting. Even the people on Youtube that made it never build the entire castle.

Yeah it would.

I remember quite a while back, one of the youtubers I watch built a bit of that (or at least something similar to/inspired by it) on a livestream.
The roofs are really cool.

Ooh.

Funny, the person that I watched livestream and build the Himeji Castle inspired thing also was building Hogwarts. I don't think he's done anything with it since 2011 though, so I assume he gave up.

Same here :/

I haven't really built anything awesome, because I feel like everything should have some sort of purpose besides aesthetics. I like messing around with redstone and pistons and game mechanics.

On an old map on the UG server I did build a tiny little church with a ladder that led down to a big underground satanic church with lava and shit tho Razz

So I found out I could go online without paying :3

I was temporarily on the UG server before I decided to log off.

Maybe we should make our own server and play with each other?

You cheater :3
My PC can't host a server and I'm not going to pay to buy one Razz

I'm pretty sure Moley from UG's Gaming thread still has a GT server though.
He'd have to update everything to 1.3.2 as well tho.
Me and him were the only two people that ever played on it, and he didn't play much at all.

I do play on the UG server a lot tho.
Next time you get on, my home is at x= -30, z= 600, if you want to visit.
