Hey guys I'm thinking of building a small pedal board for live shows. Nothing to intricate because I wont really use a lot of distortion for a rock band. I'm thinking obviously tuner, chorus, compressor, octave, and maybe an overdrive. (not in that particular order) any suggestions/deletions

The Boss TU-3 is the one I've seen the most cited for tuning pedals.

I don't know much about octave pedals, but I do like the Digitech Whammy. You can use it like a normal octave pedal, or for various other sounds, so it's pretty versatile. But if you're looking for just an octave pedal, there's cheaper options.

For a chorus, a Boss CH-1 is pretty popular.

I don't know much about an octave or overdrive pedals.

You could check out the Digitech RP255, 355, 500, or the 1000 (depending on your budget) and it can do all of that in one package.

The tuner I already have. My friend has the Boss TU-3 and I didnt like it. I went with the korg pitchblack. Other than that everything sounds about right. I could just get a delay yet and go for muse but my band may not like that.

You should ask them what they think about a delay
