I've been disconnected from the world lately, physically and online so no anime for me. I'm so behind on my anime, can't wait to go get it from my sisters fiance so I can get my Fairy Tail on.

Lolz, well with Rosario + Vampire the manga has substance, but the show is basically for comedy, which is probably why the fans raged over it. You should check out the trailor

So Debbie would love my good news. I just started watching Fairy Tail (only the first episode).So far it's alright, I like the mix of serious stuff with the comedy. Though I think it's funny that I recognize some of the voice actors from other shows I have seen.

For example:

Aya Hirano is the voice actress for Lucy, who is also Haruhi, Konata from Lucky Star, and Misa Amane from Death Note:

I don't recognize Natsu's Japanese voice actor, but I can't take his English one seriously since I know him as Tsukune from Rosario + Vampire and his role as a whimpy character with a vagina:



So far the English Dub is pretty legit, it is Funimation after all. My only problem is Natsu only because I know him as Tsukune, but that didn't seem to bother me that much.

Yatta! I knew you would see the light sometime and start to watch it. The anime gets even better, the power escalation is just mindblowing. I won't be able to watch the english dubs after I've heard the japanese dubs, it just totally ruins it for me. It tried it once with Tenjou Tenge, I first watched the japanese dubs and then saw the english dubs and it just made my brain explode in a bad way. Wow that voice actor that plays Lucy gets around. I know Misa, I loved Death Note. I still need to watch the movie, I only started it but never finised and can't remember why.

Meh, I don't see how an English dub ruins anything, unless it's a really bad dub (Black Cat I'm looking at you).

Yeah Lucy's actor really gets around, she's an Idol star in Japan and has a bunch of music videos either by herself or in the band SCANDAL and sings anime theme songs.

I prefer the 2 Death Note movies over the anime, it gets to the point, also since I think that after L dies, the show gets a bit too silly for me.

I have to agree with that and the ending of the anime sucks.

I don't know, I still prefer the jap dubs...

I was just saying I think they did a good job for the most part on the English one. The opening and ending theme songs on Fairy Tail suck ass for the most part.

The Irish background music is kind of cool

They change it as the show goes on and there are some of the opeining somgs that I dig.
