My favorite band. Beautiful music whilst being aggressive. Simple yet so much depth. To me, this band covers as many spectrums as they can.

They've not only announced the long awaited remasters of their two albums and four last EP's, they are going to release a new album and a new EP sometime this year. For fans like me, this news is HUGE.

For those who don't know this band, they are pretty much the biggest shoegaze band. Shoegaze is a genre of rock that combines surreal themes and melodies with lush timbre (dream pop essentially) with very abrasive, loud guitars that seem to "swirl" (due to the way the guitar is strum with the whammy bar being used).

Here's a bit of their work on their last and best album, Loveless

I moved this into the indie thread since the rock one is more for mainstream stuff.

I swore we had a discussion on this, or was this in a different thread?

That's where it was. I wasn't sure if we were spamming the intro thread with that discussion.

I have the remastered copies of Loveless, Isn't Anything and their last four EPs (with three unreleased songs and some b-sides added)

I didn't think I would feel more euphoric with music before, but... good god. It's actually impossible to describe this, because it took perfect music and somehow made it more perfect. I dunno. Basically, the music and sound is the same but now it matches modern sound systems and can be played with the best quality. It's just too incredible.
