Yeah, I think that's called their range.

I think I have an alright range. Though my primary range is tenor.

I'm a tenor. For the longest time I thought I was a bass-baritone, but when I started taking lessons I realised that I was only using my low range and I didn't know how to use my high range.

And yes, there are voice types outside of just your range. You could be a lyric tenor, light baritone, etc.
