Zakk Wylde may be one of the few I've seen use a wah and actually make it sound good...Dimebag of course, but for the most part, a wah shouldn't be used as an instrument...

I lucked out on my Wah pedal, I got the Dunlop Crybaby at a pawn shop with the adapter for $40. It's like $60 without the adapter.

I just use overdrive, gain, the occasional phaser when i'm messing with my guitar. I love having a little line 6 amp for that thing so I dont buy many effects pedals

I have a digitech pedal, but one of these days I'll buy the individual effects

I own a BOSS GT-5
It is quite an old pedal.

My favourite effects on the pedal are chorus and delay. It sounds amazing.

It seems old, they're up to GT-10 now.

Still going for £150+ (You work out the dollars) on eBay so they can't be that bad. It sounds amazing and I'm only playing through an awful 15 watt Crate amplifier. I've played my SG through my pedal and a Fender Frontman and it was amazing. I've got a Fender Telecaster and really want to try it through the Boss GT-5 and Fender Frontman set-up.

What's stopping you from trying it?

Money to be able to buy a Frontman.
I borrowed it from my old band member as he was the drummer had owned a Frontman. But he went to college doing music technology so he took it back unfortunately.

I own a 15 watt amp too. I wish I had a better one.

Yeah, it is good enough for in house use.
But when you're band practising it becomes an issue.

I don't have the band issue, it's hard to find one to join since everyone who plays guitar is either doing it for jazz or wants to start a metal band, something I'm not schooled in.
