Rancid is indeed pretty awesome, I must admit. ...Wolves is one of the albums that really got me into punk in the first place, and it still remains a masterpiece in my ears. All of their albums have something special in them for me. Pretty much anything Tim Armstrong is awesome.

As much as I love Rancid, I'd say they had a terrible habit of jumping on the bandwagon. Eh? Punk is getting some mainstream recognition? Better make a pop-esque album. Oh wait, ska revival is cool now? Yeah, let's do that. Did you know hardcore's in the house now?

If you even remotely like punk and don't listen to Rancid, you gotta check them out. Following songs are awesome: Roots Radicals; Cash, Culture and Violence; Indestructible, The Brothels, and Sidekick are all really good songs.

You know what... They have announced a live show in my hometown on the 10th December. I fly out to New York on the 8th!!!! So annoying, been wanting to see them for years and been keeping up with tour dates recently. And they are playing the week I am away! Typical. Don't think i'll ever get to see them now :/
